Terms &
Conditions.
Last updated: February 28, 2026
Please read our Terms and Conditions carefully before starting your course. They explain how we work, what to expect, and the rules that help us ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.
1. Bookings & Class Scheduling
All bookings are subject to availability and weather conditions. We will inform you of your tentative schedule 1–2 days in advance, but final confirmation is given by 6:00 PM the evening before the session, once conditions are verified.
Our main communication channel is WhatsApp. Please stay reachable during your course days. If you don't use WhatsApp, we'll communicate via email, SMS, or phone.
If conditions are favorable and you are on the boat or at the beach, the class is considered completed, even if you decide not to enter the water for personal reasons (including seasickness).
If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, the class will start without you and be counted as completed. No-shows are non-refundable.
2. Cancellation & Refund Policy
Canceling an Entire Course
You may cancel up to 7 days before your course start date with a full refund of your deposit. Cancellations made within 7 days of the start date are non-refundable.
Canceling a Single Class
You may cancel a class up to 7:00 PM the day before. After that, it will be fully charged, even if not attended.
Weather Conditions
If weather prevents us from running a class, we will reschedule to the next available day. If you're unable to complete all your classes before your departure, you'll be refunded for the missed sessions only.
3. Class Duration & Formats
Each class includes approximately 1.5 hours of water time, plus briefing, setup, rest, and return to base — lasting 3–4 hours total.
Depending on weather and course level, classes may take place from the beach or by boat, at the discretion of the school. Sessions may be group or private, based on your booking and availability. We ensure the best possible match of levels in group classes.
4. Maximum Group Sizes
5. Sport-Specific Conditions

7. Health, Injuries & Special Conditions
In case of illness or injury during your course, we will do our best to reschedule remaining classes, but we cannot refund missed sessions already started or used.

8. Insurance & Liability
Siel Watersports Academy is insured for personal injury and third-party liability. However, we do not cover personal belongings (phones, sunglasses, wallets, etc.).
