How the course
works.
This is a general roadmap. In Progress surfing is where progress slows down — and that's normal. Your instructor will work on the specific things holding you back.
Transfer to the spot · Spot assessment & briefing · 2 hours in the water · Video feedback (when available) · Debrief. Total 3–4 hours.
2 hours of active surf time per session. At this level the coach will observe and give targeted feedback between waves — not just encouragement.

In Progress
Course.
Each class is 2 hours of surf time. Equipment, wetsuit, boots, leash and transfer all included. Our In Progress course is our intermediate surf program — for surfers who can catch waves but want to progress faster.
In Progress surfing takes time — be realistic about your timeline and don't rush the process.
Private
Lessons.
At In Progress level, private coaching can break bad habits much faster than group sessions. One session of targeted feedback can unlock weeks of stuck progress.

Common
questions.
If you've had at least one surf lesson and can stand up on the board, you're ready for In Progress. You don't need to be surfing consistently — that's exactly what we'll work on.
It varies a lot between people and depends on how often you've surfed before. Some students get there in a few sessions, others take longer. Surfing has a slower curve than most sports — that's part of what makes it special.
Yes. If you have your own board and want to use it, let us know when booking. We can advise on whether it's appropriate for your level and the conditions.
Morning or afternoon depending on tides and swell. Final confirmation by 6pm the evening before via WhatsApp.
We choose the best available spot based on the day's conditions. If it's genuinely unsurfable, we reschedule. If you're leaving, we refund the missed session.
